FAQS
Far West Communities are meeting at Disneyland September 6th.
Who is going?
All three communities: LA, San Diego/Orange County, and Midbar. All Chapters will meet for a picture at the Castle at a time to be determined.
Pricing:
Pricing depends on your location and add-ons. LA can add on a sleepover at Hamakom Saturday night. All of CA can add on a t-shirt. The AZ price is all inclusive. If you have a season pass, there is an option for that, plus any adds on you would like. Since we are providing chaperones, we would like everyone to register even if you have a season pass and live in the area.
What if I am outside of California?
The AZ chapters will continue to participate in a turnaround trip. During the registration process you will select the Arizona option and register for the turnaround trip which includes: ticket, transportation, tshirt, and breakfast. The bus will begin at Anshei Israel, stop at the Shea Harkins Theater on Saturday evening and return first to the theater, then Anshei Monday morning.
What if I am in California?
All registration will go through this link. You will choose the options that fit your needs for Disney day. This can include the ticket, transportation, and t-shirt.
What did I hear about T-shirts?
Arizona will receive their t-shirts before entering the park. If you are from California and you choose the t-shirt add on, you will receive your shirt before you enter the park.
What about food?
AZ will stop at IHOP for breakfast before entering the park; everyone is on their own for Lunch and Dinner. We do request, as a USY participant at this event, that you refrain from eating meat in the park.
What happens during the day?
USY'ers travel around the park in groups of 3 or more. Specific check-ins are required for all participants. Some are in person and some are digitally through chapter staff. Unless specifically arranged with your chapter chaperone, USY'ers are not chaperoned throughout the day. However, staff is at the park and can be contacted at all times.
What else do I bring?
Money for food and souvenirs, a portable charger for your phone (if you think you need it), sunscreen, a water bottle, weather-appropriate clothing, and a smile!
